This contract position is perfect for an experienced OT eager to collaborate closely with a dedicated team, including 2-3 COTAs, and make a meaningful impact throughout the school district.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed and credentialed Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Familiarity with ESPED or other leading IEP systems strongly desired
• Comfortable supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
• Ability to conduct evaluations, develop plans, and provide ongoing supervision

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students according to IEPs
• Assess and evaluate student needs across the district, developing individualized intervention plans
• Supervise and consult with 2-3 COTAs to ensure high-quality implementation of therapy interventions
• Maintain up-to-date records and weekly time logs for approval processes
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff and families
• Complete necessary documentation and communicate effectively with school administration and team members

This contract assignment is scheduled to begin as soon as possible, continuing through late May 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week. Flexibility is key, as the role covers multiple campuses within a close-knit district. Please note that compensation is tied to active service days at school, and absences or breaks are not compensated according to district policy.
