Customer Service Representative

Location: Charlotte, NC 28277

Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour

Duration: 21 weeks, contract to hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday (Any 8 hours worked between 7am and 6 pm)

Schedule

Work any 8 hours between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
Lunch: 30-minute minimum, up to 1 hour
After 90 days , the position can work from home on Fridays

What You'll Do

Create and maintain customer profiles
Set up new customers and verify required information
Set up customer billing and operational requirements
Confirm billing information with customer Accounts Payable contacts
Monitor and respond to customer requests by email
Assist with EDI and API onboarding
Review customer credit usage and escalate issues when needed

Required:

2+ years of customer service experience
Experience with Microsoft Office, including:
Word
Excel
Outlook

Preferred:

1+ year of transportation industry experience
Strong communication and phone skills
Professional and customer-focused attitude
Ability to identify and improve processes
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Advanced Excel experience, including:
Pivot tables
VLOOKUPs
Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
