Operations Manager, US Pest

Role Summary The primary purpose of this role is to oversee technician recruiting, hiring, onboarding, ongoing training, coaching, development, and accountability to maximize technician success, retention, and service quality. Key Performance Indicators Customer Satisfaction and Retention Technician Retention Technician % of Staffing Budget Team Safety Performance Route Completion Branch Schedule Efficiency Sales Growth Service Cost Control Principal Duties and Responsibilities Oversee ongoing technician training, coaching, and development. Recruit and hire residential and/or commercial pest, termite, specialty, and lawn technicians to maintain staffing levels. Evaluate technician performance through ride‑along reviews and audits. Respond to customer concerns with diligence and compassion. Ensure service quality to maximize customer retention. Fill temporary staffing gaps on customer appointments. Monitor branch scheduling to ensure efficient and timely appointments. Maintain safety standards and regulatory compliance. Manage inventory levels of pest/control products. Candidate Summary Adept at problem solving and identifying practical solutions. Strong leadership and motivation skills. Good basic/intermediate math aptitude for sales and service calculations. Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Ability to build rapport and trust with customers and employees. Education & Certifications High school diploma or GED. Maintain licenses and certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations. Valid driver’s license. Physical Demands Moving up to 20 lbs. Sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Working in damp or dusty locations, confined spaces, narrow aisles. Operating a motor vehicle safely and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Wearing PPE, including OSHA‑compliant respirators. Travel & Schedule Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, on‑call rotation, and extended seasons (up to 60 hours per week). Pay Range Yearly: $62,700.00 - $101,200.00.
