Lobby Ambassador / Front-desk

Lobby Ambassador Location: New York, NY 10036 (100% onsite) Duration: 6 months (possible extension or going perm) Shifts: 7:30am-4:30pm EST (open lobby) or 8:30am-5:30pm EST (close lobby) This role is dedicated to the lobby reception desk, lunch breaks, and possible light extra assignments on an as needed basis (inventory, research, data entry etc.) Need someone who is energetic, friendly, courteous, professional, sense of urgency, proactive Teachable skills: Ticketing system, badging system, Slack Hospitality experience is preferred, early mornings necessary. The Lobby Ambassador must be highly hospitable, have a sense of urgency, anticipate the needs of our employees and guests and work well under pressure. Client's office is a fast paced, high-energy environment. The Lobby Ambassador is the first point of contact for our employees and guests arriving into our space. We expect all interactions to be pleasant and helpful. The Lobby Ambassador acts as a constant resource for our employees and makes the first direct impression on client's customers. The person selected will need to be energetic and very flexible with their schedule as it can change with short notice. This person must be a real team player. Someone who wants to be supportive of the team and is willing to jump in and help wherever necessary. Complete a daily checklist of basic tasks to maintain the space, maintain an electronic list of access cards assigned to staff, providing lost or damaged access card numbers to the security team for cancellation, respond to all communication on Slack and email in a timely manner. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, customer service experience required, proficient at using Google Apps and Slack, must be willing/able to learn and use Salesforce programs, has a strong ability to take direction and follow instruction both oral and written, has good writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills, submit timesheet for approval every Friday.
