Assistant Controller

ASSISTANT CONTROLLER – Make an impact and have fun doing it! Growing company located in the DTC is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their team! This would be an ideal role for a CPA who is looking to transition out of public accounting and into a great industry role. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER

Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain strong internal controls Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Coordinate with external auditors and tax providers Identify and implement process improvements as we grow Jump in where needed — they are a team and support each other

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ASSISTANT CONTROLLER

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting CPA or CPA candidate 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting and/or industry Excellent organizational and communication skills Positive attitude and team-first mindset Target salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 DOE.
