The ideal candidate will have experience operating OD/ID grinders, cylindrical grinders, and Kellenberger machines, with a strong background in aerospace grinding. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with tight tolerances to meet the high standards of the aerospace industry. Responsibilities Operate OD (Outside Diameter) and ID (Inside Diameter) grinders to produce precision components. Set up and operate cylindrical grinders and Kellenberger machines according to job specifications. Perform precision grinding tasks to meet aerospace industry standards and tolerances. Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments. Maintain grinding equipment and ensure proper calibration and maintenance. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve any production issues. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Precision Grinder, preferably in aerospace manufacturing. Proficient in operating OD/ID grinders, cylindrical grinders, and Kellenberger machines. Strong knowledge of precision grinding techniques and aerospace grinding requirements. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
