Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Technical training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance fields is a plus

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of practical experience in mechanical testing, manufacturing, or industrial equipment environments
• Experience testing rotating machinery such as centrifugal blowers, compressors, or dryers
• Proficiency using laser shaft alignment equipment
• Experience monitoring and documenting vibration, pressure, and temperature measurements
• Strong computer skills with Windows-based software for reporting and documentation
• Experience working with soft starters, water cooling towers, or similar auxiliary equipment preferred

Job Duties

• Perform precision shaft alignment using laser alignment tools
• Conduct mechanical and operational testing on centrifugal blowers, compressors, and dryers
• Measure, monitor, and record vibration analysis, pressure, and temperature data
• Connect electrical and mechanical input/output systems for industrial equipment testing
• Generate detailed test reports and technical documentation
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate results
• Communicate test findings, anomalies, and improvement recommendations to engineering teams
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards throughout testing operations

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
• Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.
