Direct Support Professional

Overview Direct Support Professional at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, Germantown, NY (South Rd IRA). Responsible for assisting individuals in daily activities, health and personal management, goal setting, recreation, and maintaining a safe therapeutic environment for people with developmental disabilities and dual diagnoses. Responsibilities Provide direct care and support to individuals in daily living activities. Assist with health, personal, and therapeutic needs to promote independence. Maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional, and personal needs of program participants. Collaborate with other professionals and family members to achieve program goals. Salary & Benefits Salary: commensurate with education and experience HS Diploma/GED – $19.00 – $20.33 per hour BA/BS – $20.00 – $21.40 per hour MA/MS or higher – $21.00 – $22.47 per hour Comprehensive paid orientation and training.
