Litigation Paralegal

Vernis & Bowling, a fast-paced and rapidly growing insurance defense firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our defense team. We are looking for a proactive professional who thrives under pressure and can independently manage a busy desk. Key Responsibilities Draft legal correspondence and pleadings, including motions, subpoenas, and notices. Manage state and federal e-filing, as well as the review and receipt of e-service and US mail. Coordinate scheduling, manage the attorney calendar, and track critical court deadlines. Maintain accurate and organized electronic document management systems. Prepare hearing exhibits, assemble hearing binders, and provide comprehensive trial preparation support. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience. Specialization: Direct experience in E&O/D&O, General Liability, Construction Defect, or Commercial Liability is strictly required. Procedural Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Florida and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Professional Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills.
