What You'll Be Doing

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Prepare and review complex journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Conduct accounting research and analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Prepare financial reports and analyses for leadership teams
• Maintain accrual, amortization, and other accounting schedules

Process Improvement & Controls

• Evaluate and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Identify automation opportunities and recommend process efficiencies
• Partner cross-functionally to strengthen financial processes and reduce risk

Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate external and regulatory audits
• Manage audit requests and collaborate with auditors and key stakeholders
• Support compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies

Leadership & Project Support

• Mentor and support junior accounting staff
• Review work products and provide guidance on technical accounting matters
• Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Present recommendations and insights to management

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, MBA, or Master's in Accounting
• Financial services industry experience
• NetSuite ERP experience
• Experience with SQL, reporting tools, or data analytics
• Proven process improvement and automation experience
