Quick Facts Location: Kingsport, TN Start Date: 10/05/2026 End Date: 04/05/2027 Shift: 24-hour day shift (Monday 07:00 EST to Monday 07:00 EST) with weekend call coverage Hours/Week: Approximately 40-50 hours/week Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: TN License or IMLC, Board Certified in GI, ACLS, BLS, TN DEA Experience: Well experienced in all General GI and ERCP procedures Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay: $4,680.00 Weekly Pay Schedule via Direct Deposit Benefits Include: Competitive pay packages Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Weekly pay via direct deposit Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time as per laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide inpatient Gastroenterology consultation and treatment for adult patients, with occasional younger patients Perform ERCP procedures and manage general GI cases Support endoscopy and OR staff with necessary procedures Assist with patient rounding as needed Provide coverage for 24-hour call, including night beeper and weekend on-call duties Work with Olympus equipment in endoscopy suite, with flexibility on EUS scheduling Conduct approximately 7-8 procedures daily in a well-equipped endoscopy environment What You Need Board Certification in GI (required) TN State License or IMLC acceptance before confirmation ACLS and BLS certifications Proven experience in ERCP and general GI procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Key skills: endoscopy, patient management, procedure performance, call coverage About the Assignment This role is based at a prominent medical facility in Kingsport, TN, specializing in inpatient Gastroenterology. The position encompasses mixed daytime and 24-hour call responsibilities, supporting both endoscopy suites and hospital wards. The facility is equipped with Olympus endoscopy equipment and utilizes EPIC for documentation. Providers will be working closely with dedicated clinical staff to deliver high-quality care to adult patients, with flexibility around procedural scheduling and capacity.
