Quality Resident Liaison / Automotive Representative

TRIGO Quality Solution is looking for a Quality Resident Liaison/ Representative in Spartansburg, SC$21-23/hour / 1099 ContractOverall PurposeThe Quality Resident Engineer serves as the customer's on-site representative, ensuring satisfaction through technical support, issue resolution, and open communication between Intervention Site and the customer. Build strong relationships, address production problems promptly, suggest improvements, and provide regular updates on claims to maintain trust and credibility.May Report toResident Engineering Director and Resident Engineer ManagerResponsibilitiesClient Relationship & Business developmentBuild strong, professional relationships with customers at the plant level.Act as the customer's representative, addressing production issues and building credibility through commitments.Maintain open communication between Intervention Site and the contracted customer.Provide regular updates on claim status and seek customer feedback.Monitor competitor activities and report to the TRIGO Resident Engineering Manager.Represent the contracted partner's interests and participate in customer meetings as needed.OperationsCoordinate on-site repairs/sorting with client approval.Analyze and resolve Site issues, informing plants for corrective action.Regularly audit customer product handling.Support prototypes, pre-serial builds, trials, launches, and engineering changes. Organization & ManagementReport on a regular basis (defined by the supervisor) to the dedicated contracted partner's team or contact partner.Technical Ensure customer satisfaction through technical support and quality issue resolution.Stay updated on technical, quality, and business topics through regular training and meetings.Address customer technical requirements and provide support.Suggest improvements to both Intervention Site and contracted customer.Other Any other duties as assignedKnowledge, skills, abilitiesHard skillsValues & attitudesWorking familiarity of Intervention Site quality systems, including TS-16949 requirementsProblem-solving abilityRegular and predictable attendanceAbility to be/work on call as neededBuild strong interpersonal relationships.Handle pressure and ambiguity effectively.Take on new challenges and responsibilities.Self-motivated and proactive.Demonstrate integrity and represent the company well.Build long-term, mutually beneficial client relationships.Honest, committed, and trustworthy.Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills.
