NCDIT - Analytics and Outbound Services IT Project Manager

Job Summary (in list format):

- Lead and manage multiple medium-to-complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external project managers to plan, coordinate, and execute IT initiatives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including work breakdown structures (WBS), agendas, and schedules.
- Oversee projects across various disciplines such as contracting, governance, data analysis, software development, and process reengineering.
- Utilize multiple project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) to effectively guide project execution.
- Manage healthcare IT projects, particularly those involving healthcare data, analytics, clinical event notification systems (ENS), and disease registries.
- Collect and analyze information from various sources to inform project planning and risk management strategies.
- Use project management tools (Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday, Smartsheet, Wrike) to track progress, capture notes, and document action items.
- Provide strong vendor management to ensure contract deliverables are met.
- Organize daily project activities, guide the work of others, and ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Apply project management best practices, including risk, resource, and financial management.
- Offer consultation and guidance to project teams, sponsors, and stakeholders.
- Synthesize diverse perspectives to address evolving business and IT challenges.
- Stay informed about emerging healthcare IT trends and assess their impact on enterprise architecture and operations.
- Communicate effectively across various mediums, lead small workgroups, and present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
