About the Role

We're seeking a motivated Technician III to support maintenance operations at one of our sites. This role encompasses fundamental vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance. You'll diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform essential repairs, and ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards. You'll be an important contributor to our transportation operations, helping maintain fleet reliability and safety for students and communities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of one to two years medium/heavy truck Fleet mechanic repair experience
• Diagnostic, Electrical, and AC skills are a must
• Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment is required
• Previous fleet experience with familiarity with diesel and gasoline systems
• Ability to use good judgment and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid CDL License (Must be able to obtain within the first 90 days of employment)
• ASE Certification desirable

The targeted base salary range for this role is $26.44 - $31.25 an hour. Actual salary may be above or below this range based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. In addition, this position may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.
