United Ag & Turf strives for exceptional customer experience throughout all our locations and departments including parts, sales, service, and transportation.PurposeAs small engine tech you will be required to perform repairs and maintenance on turf equipment, ATV/UTV's and other small engine equipment. Will require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager.Essential FunctionsThe following are essential functions of this position:Performs repairs and maintenance on small engine equipment.Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required for the position.Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.Follow all safety rules and regulations require in conjunction with job assignments.Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments.Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.May participate in service training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.Physical DemandsThis position requires minimal physical demands that are necessary to perform the essential functions of the position, including: Talking and hearing. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, balancing and climbing all day.
