Description: Schedule may float to units with similar acuity. Patient ratios during nights are 3-4 dyads (6-8 patients). Patient ratios during weekends are 3-4 dyads (6-8 patients). Candidates are expected to provide family-centered care to postpartum patients and their newborns. Daily census is approximately 60. Nursing responsibilities include discharge teaching, postpartum care, and infant assessment. Candidates must complete fingerprinting as per regulations. Telehealth interpretation is required, and passing an EKG exam is necessary prior to employment. Two professional references are required, with at least one from a formal leadership capacity. Current employees are not eligible for this travel assignment.
