Installer Pay & Payroll Specialist

Installer Pay & Payroll Specialist Renewal by Andersen - Hayward, CA A successful Installer Pay & Payroll Specialist consistently delivers accurate and timely payroll and installer payments, proactively resolves issues, maintains compliance with company policies, supports continuous process improvement, and provides exceptional service to both field installers and internal teams. Primary Responsibilities Process high-volume installer payments, including installation labor, service labor, and back charges, on a daily basis and submit weekly payment batches for processing according to established deadlines. Review and validate labor documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper approvals before payment processing. Maintain accurate payment records and process transactions within company systems, including Rforce and other payroll platforms. Investigate, reconcile, and resolve payment discrepancies by collaborating with internal departments and field personnel. Verify weekly installer timecards, resolve exceptions, and ensure timely payroll submissions. Assist with payroll processing for installers and employees, including reporting, data entry, and payroll submissions. Perform payroll and payment audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to installer pay and payroll processes. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls. File, upload, organize, and maintain payroll, payment, and personnel documentation in accordance with company record retention policies. Train new installers and employees on company systems, payroll procedures, and payment processes. Serve as backup for the Payroll Assistant during absences, ensuring continuity of payroll operations. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in a similar role (preferably construction or retail). Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems. Knowledge of payroll and/or accounts payable processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines. Schedule, Compensation and Benefits Onsite in our Hayward office Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm, with flexibility based on business needs. Competitive compensation of $25-$27 an hour, based on experience.
