Staff Accountant

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This position plays a key role in the monthly financial close process, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and supporting various accounting functions across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general ledger accounting and account reconciliations, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment

Role and Responsibilities

• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger account reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Analyze financial data and investigate account variances.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of internal financial reports.
• Support financial reporting requirements for management and executive leadership.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Support the Accounting Supervisor with day-to-day accounting operations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with process improvements and implementation of accounting best practices.
• Perform special projects and ad hoc assignments as requested by the Accounting Supervisor or executive leadership.

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP ERP systems.
• Experience working within a multinational or international corporation.
• Exposure to financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles.
