Dental Field Sales Consultant

The Dental Field Sales Consultant (FSC) is responsible for managing all B2B sales activities within an assigned territory. This role requires regular consultative contact with every account throughout the territory to grow merchandise, equipment, and service sales with existing customers, while placing a strong emphasis on new business development and promoting the Henry Schein value proposition. This position is expected to build strong business relationships with customers by aligning Henry Schein solutions with their practice, merchandise, and service needs.

This role supports a territory covering Cleveland and surrounding Northeast Ohio areas. Candidates are expected to reside within this market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Held accountable to achieve quarterly and annual sales Gross Profit (GP) goals by actively participating and executing key sales initiatives and programs.
• Directs sales activities within the assigned territory through a collaborative team selling approach to support the evolving needs of customers and the dental industry.
• Develops, manages, and increases Merchandise, Equipment, and Service sales within the territory as defined by the Regional General Manager (RGM), through regular face to face consultative interactions and customer business reviews.
• Proactively identifies and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media outreach.
• Plans, organizes, and implements effective strategies utilizing company programs, tools and initiatives to increase market share across Merchandise, Equipment, Service and Henry Schein Solutions (Henry Schein One, Henry Schein Practice Solutions, etc.). Key tools include Content Management Systems (CMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and predictive sales tools.
• Attends all sales meetings, dental conventions, seminars, internal training programs, and industry events as instructed by Regional Manager to promote event selling/creating deeper relationship with customer.

Minimum Work Experience:

At least 2 years prior sales experience preferred

Preferred Education:

Typically, a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.

Travel / Physical Demands:

This position requires extensive travel within a specific geographic territory assignment. No special physical demands required.

The salary to be offered for this position is $50,000. At the time of this posting, this position is eligible for commission not reflected in the posted range subject to the achievement of the plan.
