Role Description The Restaurant General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Asheville, NC. This position is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, including staff supervision, shift leadership, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service for every guest. The General Manager manages financial performance, including P&L oversight, budgeting, inventory control, and cost management, while monitoring customer satisfaction and service standards. Day-to-day tasks include hiring, training, and scheduling team members, implementing operational procedures, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements. The role also involves collaborating with ownership on sales initiatives, local marketing efforts, and continuous improvement of the guest experience and restaurant profitability. Qualifications Strong financial and operational skills, including P&L Management and Budgeting. Commitment to Customer Satisfaction with proven Customer Service expertise. Experience with Hiring, training, and developing restaurant or hospitality teams. Prior leadership experience in restaurant, hospitality, or food service management. Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and make data-informed decisions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. Working knowledge of restaurant POS systems and basic computer applications. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
