Start Date: 07/30/2026
Shift: 24-hour shifts (prefer weekdays), 2-3 shifts/month
Hours/week: Approximately 24 hours/week
Employment Type: Locum
Licensure/Certs: OB ABMS or AOA certified, comfortable working with Midwife, Epic experience preferred
Experience: Experience with VBACs, C-sections, and labor/delivery/postpartum care preferred
Pay & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (note: this appears to be a placeholder; pay package discussed upon application)

What You'll Do
- Provide labor, delivery, and postpartum care in a busy hospital environment with 16 rooms and one OB dedicated OR
- Conduct approximately 65% of all deliveries, equating to about 120 deliveries per month
- Perform C-sections and manage VBACs with confidence
- Work collaboratively with midwives and healthcare team members
- Ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety during labor and delivery
- Follow hospital protocols and utilize Epic EMR system (preferred)
- Maintain high-quality patient care with flexible scheduling and timely response to calls
- Stay at a hotel until called in, with a brief orientation period (not exceeding 60% of hourly rate)
What You Need
Required:
- OB ABMS or AOA board certification
- Comfort working with midwives and managing labor/delivery
- Experience with VBACs and C-sections
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Epic EMR experience
