About the role:

Design excellence and visual taste are critical for this role. In this role, you’ll create compelling visual assets across product marketing, lifestyle campaigns, brand initiatives, social media, digital advertising, and ecommerce experiences.

We're looking for a designer with a strong traditional design foundation and exceptional creative judgment who also embraces AI as a core part of the modern creative workflow. You understand that great work starts with great design thinking, not software. Whether creating assets from scratch, directing AI-generated imagery, building campaigns, or developing brand systems, you'll know how to blend design expertise with cutting-edge AI tools to achieve outstanding results efficiently.

Our ideal candidate has a refined eye for composition, typography, color, photography, and storytelling, along with deep expertise using AI image generation tools to create both product-focused and human lifestyle content that feels premium, believable, and on-brand. You'll also help elevate the creative capabilities of the broader team, making your standards the team's standards.

Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, required.
• 7+ years of professional graphic design experience with a portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual taste, brand thinking, and execution across multiple channels.
• Strong traditional design background with expertise in typography, layout, composition, color, art direction, and visual storytelling.
• A portfolio demonstrating both conceptual thinking and polished execution across brand, marketing, digital, and campaign work.
• Strong experience creating high-quality AI-generated imagery for both product-focused and human lifestyle applications.
• Advanced proficiency with leading AI creative tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Kling, Nano Banana, Grok or equivalent platforms.
• Ability to create AI-generated visuals that feel authentic, premium, brand-consistent, and commercially viable.
• Strong understanding of photography, lighting, composition, and art direction, enabling effective creation and manipulation of AI-generated content.
• Experience combining traditional design workflows with AI-assisted content creation.
• Proven ability to take projects from concept through final production independently.
• Strong presentation, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
• A clear point of view on design excellence, emerging creative trends, and the evolving role of AI in visual communication.
• Experience mentoring junior designers or contributing to the growth of creative teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating both consumer product imagery and human-centered lifestyle content using AI tools.
• Strong knowledge of photo retouching, image compositing, and post-production workflows.
• Experience building scalable creative systems, design libraries, and AI-assisted production processes.
• Motion design, video editing, or AI video generation experience.
• Familiarity with ecommerce, DTC, retail, or consumer brand environments.
• Ability to art direct photography, AI-generated imagery, and hybrid creative productions.
• Understanding of both studio-quality visual standards and fast-paced content production needs.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
