Step into a rewarding opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting an elementary school community near Swanzey, NH. This school-based contract position is set for the 2026-2027 academic year, from August 26 through June 15. You’ll provide direct support to students in one elementary school, dedicating 35 to 37.5 hours each week to fostering growth, confidence, and independence.

As a pivotal resource on campus, you will:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ functional physical development and self-regulation skills, ensuring each child finds their unique path to success.
• Develop and implement strategic, individualized treatment plans that champion students’ developmental needs and inform optimal classroom placements.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to deliver recommendations grounded in best practices, eliminating barriers within the school environment.
• Foster accessibility by identifying potential hurdles and providing targeted solutions so every student has an equal opportunity to participate and excel.
• Maintain accurate documentation to support student progress and maintain compliance with education standards and therapy regulations.

Ideal Profile:

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in New Hampshire.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Experience working in a pediatric or school setting is highly valued.
• Collaborative spirit, strong communication skills, and commitment to providing student-centered care.
