Job Description
FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate a Controller for a great client. This rapidly growing company is well-known for the design and fabrication of high-quality products.
\n \nSo, what will you be doing as Controller?
\n-Develop, test, and refine cost accounting processes for materials, labor, and overhead
\n-Perform analysis of WIP and production activity to identify discrepancies and variances
\n-Investigate cost drivers and support improved visibility to cost drivers and profitability
\n-Partner with Operations to understand real-world processes and align appropriate costing approaches
\n-Perform monthly close activities (journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals)
\n \nWhat you will need to be successful:
\n-BS in Accounting, Business Administration, or another related field
\n-5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
\n-Hands-on experience with ERP and Accounting software packages
\n-Advanced database skills (Excel)
\n-Proven ability to create and implement process
\n \nThings considered a plus:
\n-Experience in a manufacturing environment (fabrication)
\n-NetSuite
