Car - Vehicle Installer/Upfitter Technician

JPJ ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS INC

Job Description

The Vehicle Installer/Upfitter Technician will install, remove, and troubleshoot communication and safety equipment in vehicles for Police and Fire Departments, Ambulance Departments, Public Works, NYSEG and School vehicles.

Equipment installed includes: Two-Way Radios, Emergency Light Bars, Safety Lights, Sirens, Tablets, Modems, License Plate Readers, and an array of hardware including Center Consoles, Slide out Trays, Cages, Kennels and Antenna Systems.

You will predominately work at our customers' locations, with a home base at our garage in Auburn, NY.

A company service vehicle will be provided. You will need your own tools and will be provided specialist tools unique to our industry.

On occasion, an opportunity to travel and stay out of town will be available, and you will be provided a vehicle and all expenses, should you wish to participate.

This is a career opportunity. The average years of service for our installer group is 20 years.
