Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address mental and emotional disorders, ensuring that all therapy sessions comply with established medical record policies. Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients facing acute psychological challenges, employing evidence-based techniques to facilitate stabilization and therapeutic direction. Engage in ongoing professional development through attendance at training sessions, in-service meetings, and workshops, enhancing therapeutic skills and clinical knowledge. Deliver a variety of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to individual and family therapy, group therapy, and psychological evaluations, tailored to the unique needs of each client. Participate in a dynamic multidisciplinary team to plan and implement innovative therapeutic retreats and activities that promote growth and healing. Patient Population / Client Focus Our client population is diverse, encompassing individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and emotional distress. As an LMFT, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients from various backgrounds, adapting your therapeutic approach to meet their unique needs and enhancing their overall quality of life. Qualifications Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California. A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a clinical setting, providing therapy for a wide range of mental health issues. Strong proficiency in planning and conducting effective psychological interventions, demonstrating both adaptability and expertise. Ability to establish rapport and trust with clients, characterized by compassion and empathy. Preferred Experience Familiarity with treatment protocols for patients undergoing bariatric psychological evaluations. Experience facilitating group therapy sessions and workshops focused on personal development and emotional well-being. Demonstration of ongoing commitment to professional growth through training in emerging therapeutic techniques. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and education.
