Human Resources Manager- Lockheed Martin

Job Description Lockheed Martin’s Center for Leadership Excellence was built in March of 2009. The property serves as the home base for all of Lockheed Martin’s training and leadership forums for its various Business Resources Groups and also hosts corporate meetings, social engagements, and celebrations. The Center for Leadership Excellence offers several unique features: 24‑hour access, a 4‑day, 10‑hour work schedule for employees, up to 350 events/100 trainings per year, 183 lodging rooms, three restaurants, a newly renovated cafeteria called “The Marketplace,” a fitness center, and a gift shop with barista service. As the Human Resources Manager, you will provide HR generalist support for Aramark’s corporate functional staff and Centers of Excellence (COE). The role also includes management and administration of several essential HR processes. Compensation The salaried rate for this position is $65,000.00 to $75,000.00. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and work/life resources. Additional benefits may include retirement savings plans such as a 401(k) and paid days off, including parental leave and disability coverage. Benefits vary by location and are subject to any legal requirements or limitations, employee eligibility status, and where the employee lives and/or works. There is no predetermined application window for this position; the role will close once a qualified candidate is selected. Job Responsibilities Issue resolution, follow up, and recommendations for corporate COEs, including hotline call response, investigation and follow‑up, corrective action/performance management consulting, and policy interpretation. Employee engagement initiatives – development and follow‑up of the Engagement Action Plan, and coordination of corporate engagement and celebration activities. Talent acquisition – serve as point of contact for corporate Accelerate to Leadership and Step Up to Leadership programs. HR metrics reporting and analysis. Benefits and payroll assistance as needed. On‑boarding programs and initiatives. At Aramark, new skills and a readiness to do what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for employees and customers. Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice. Qualifications HR/SPHR certification preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. Human resources planning and organizational development experience desired. Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in human resources. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or an equivalent required. Employment relations experience, including conducting investigations and writing resolutions, required. Strong analytical skills required. Ability to train and make presentations required. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. Initiative to improve processes as needed. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
