About the Role:
The Great Greek in San Antonio, TX is looking for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team! Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute menu items according to The Great Greek's recipes and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout each shift
• Operate grills, fryers, sauté stations, and other kitchen equipment safely and effectively
• Monitor food freshness, portion sizes, and presentation for consistency
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth, timely service during peak hours
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations
• Assist with prep work including chopping, marinating, and stocking stations

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (Food Handler Certification a plus)
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Passion for food quality and delivering a consistent guest experience
