Registered Cardiovascular Invasive SpecialistSentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, in Williamsburg, VA, is currently hiring a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist. This is a full time, day shift position and requires "on-call" with a 30-minute response time.Overview: The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist is a highly trained and specialized healthcare professional who plays a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. Working at a professional level, this role is central to the functioning of cardiac catheterization laboratories and other invasive cardiovascular environments. The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures and operates within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and procedural efficiency.Primary responsibilities include acting as a first assistant to physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and electrophysiology studies. The Specialist operates and monitors advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment, ensures accurate data collection, and maintains a sterile environment throughout all procedures.
