Are you a skilled and caring dental assistant fluent in both Spanish and English? Elmhurst Dental is seeking a dedicated, bilingual dental assistant for a full-time or part-time position in our busy pediatric/orthodontic/general practice. We’re looking for someone who is culturally sensitive, passionate about patient care, and eager to grow with our team. If you have at least 1 year of dental assisting experience and want to make a lasting impact in a supportive and dynamic environment, we want to meet you!

Dental assistant

Provide chairside dental assistance to pediatric, orthodontic, and general dentists

Assist with patient behavior management and deliver oral hygiene education

Sterilize instruments, set up trays, and prepare operatories for treatment

Take dental x-rays and ensure accurate patient information collection

Manage patient flow efficiently and help patients feel comfortable and welcome

Answer phones and assist with front desk duties as needed

Maintain cleanliness of the office, including sweeping, mopping, and restroom upkeep

Support a smooth, positive experience for patients and their families

full-time $20 - $28 per hour

Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Sunday: Closed

Bilingual (Spanish/English) REQUIRED

1+ years dental assisting experience (pediatric and/or orthodontic experience preferred)

Strong communication and cultural sensitivity skills

Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting

Reliable, organized, and eager to learn and grow

Must be able to commute to Elmhurst, NY 11373
