Locums Emergency Medicine Physician OpportunityWe are seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician for an ongoing (min. 6 months) coverage opportunity in Nashville, Tennessee. This is an on-site emergency medicine position with a manageable patient volume and a 12-bed Emergency Department.Position HighlightsDuration: Ongoing- At least 6 monthsSchedule: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 6:00 PM–6:00 AMNo call12-bed Emergency DepartmentCensus: Fewer than 30 patients per dayAdmissions: Fewer than 10 per dayOn-site coverageFull scope of Emergency Medicine proceduresResponsibilitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and treat emergency department patients.Manage acute and emergent medical conditions.Perform emergency procedures, including:Procedural sedationEndotracheal intubationCentral line placementOther standard ED procedures within scope of practiceStabilize and disposition patients appropriately.Coordinate consultations, admissions, transfers, and follow-up care.Provide timely and accurate medical documentation.QualificationsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency MedicineMust have successfully completed an Emergency Medicine residencyABEM certification or eligibility requiredCurrent Tennessee medical license
