Technical Requirements Lead This role will work a hybrid schedule coming into the Columbus, Ohio office 2 days per week on Mondays & Wednesdays. This role will support developer.Nationwide.com. We’re looking for a Technical Requirements Lead who goes beyond the traditional requirements lead role. This role is for someone with an engineering mindset, ideally someone who has technical depth, is comfortable working like an engineer, and wants to apply those skills in a different way. We need someone who can help the team move faster and smarter by combining technical thinking, AI fluency, structured problem solving, and hands‑on exploration. This role will help ensure we are not just gathering requirements but discovering the right requirements and guiding the team toward the best solution. Strong technical acumen and an engineering-oriented mindset Strong understanding of AI tools, prompt engineering, and emerging ways to apply AI in delivery work Comfort working in ambiguity and bringing structure where things are not yet fully defined Ability to write or contribute to agent skills, workflows, or similar AI‑enabled capabilities Ability to build small, fast prototypes or POCs to explore ideas and validate direction Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across technical and non‑technical audiences Ability to see the big picture while also getting into the details when needed Strong facilitation and problem‑solving skills Bias for action and curiosity to explore new approaches A current or former engineer who wants to move into a more strategic, cross‑functional role Someone who is excited by AI, not just conceptually, but practically using it to solve problems, test ideas, and improve team effectiveness Technology Analyst As a Technology Analyst you will partner with the business to understand business needs and outcomes as well as provide all types of analysis skills related to understanding and meeting business outcomes. You will translate business outcomes into solution requirements using techniques such as facilitation and visual management. The role involves managing the complete requirements lifecycle, conducting structured analysis, analyzing data and application suites, and problem‑solving collaboratively across all types of solution approaches. You will work on projects from minor defect fixes to development of new applications, covering custom development, package implementation, and domains such as data warehouses, web, and cloud. Eight years of relevant work experience including software delivery or educational experience within a technology domain Experience delivering technology and/or business solutions across industries, platforms and/or lines of business within the insurance and/or financial services industries Demonstrated capability in managing the requirements lifecycle, including facilitation, elicitation, and documenting requirements Master analytical and communication skills, knowledge of planning, and ability to influence, negotiate and set priorities Ability to facilitate requirement sessions using visual techniques with senior leaders Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, paid time off, holidays, 8 hours of Lifetime paid time off, 8 hours of Unity Day paid time off, 401(k) with company match, company‑paid pension plan, business casual attire, and more.
