Seattle Central College is looking to hire a Program Coordinator (non-permanent) in the Facilities department
Salary Range for this position is $47,100.00 to $61,308.00 annually .
Opportunity is open until filled, first review of materials will begin August 17, 2026 .
Position Summary
Join a dynamic Facilities Operations team where your organizational skills, customer service expertise, and initiative will make a visible impact across the campus community. The Program Coordinator leads the day-to-day coordination of facilities service requests and administrative operations, working closely with faculty, staff, students, and vendors to deliver responsive and efficient support. This position offers the opportunity to exercise independent judgment, manage a diverse portfolio of operational activities, and contribute to innovative solutions that enhance service delivery and support institutional success.
This position is Full-time non-permanent, not to exceed 18 months and with the possibility to transition into regular/permanent status, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, primarily 8am to 4:30pm.
This position works 100% of the time on-site
This position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement with representation by WFSE.

What you will be working on
Serve as a trusted resource for the campus community , providing responsive, customer-focused support to faculty, staff, students, and external partners while helping navigate facilities services and solutions.
Play a central role in campus operations by coordinating and prioritizing facility service requests, ensuring urgent needs are addressed quickly and efficiently to support a safe, functional, and welcoming learning environment.
Leverage technology and data to improve service delivery , using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Coordinate vendor partnerships and service providers , managing repair projects, service visits, and deliveries while ensuring quality, timeliness, and a positive customer experience.
Support responsible stewardship of resources by monitoring expenditures, reconciling purchasing records, and helping ensure compliance with state and institutional requirements.
Maintain and analyze operational data , preparing reports, tracking key metrics, and providing information that supports informed decision-making and effective facilities planning.
Help drive operational excellence by monitoring service levels, identifying trends or variances, and recommending solutions that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment , coordinating work orders, vendor activities, meetings, and deliveries while balancing competing demands and evolving operational needs.
Collaborate with campus and external stakeholders , building productive relationships with vendors, contractors, agencies, and departments to support successful program outcomes.
Provide leadership and support to student and part-time employees , assigning work, sharing knowledge, and helping develop the skills needed to contribute effectively to team goals.

What you bring as a candidate: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience)
High school graduation or equivalent and two years of experience in facilities operations, work-order coordination, administrative program support, or a related program specialty; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic accounting, expenditure reconciliation, purchasing, and recordkeeping practices.
Demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft 365 applications and the ability to learn and use computerized maintenance management, database, and reporting systems.
Demonstrated proficiency in preparing professional correspondence, spreadsheets, reports, and data analyses.
Demonstrated experience entering, reviewing, and maintaining data, including verifying accuracy, identifying errors, and making corrections.
Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment within established program parameters and work effectively as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize competing assignments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Demonstrate ability to provide responsive, respectful service and explain program procedures to diverse audiences.
