Events Specialist

MinIO's Events Specialist supports execution across Marquee, Trade Show, Regional, and Community events, including logistics, on-site operations, and post-event reporting.

It's an entry-level role with broad exposure to event marketing, working directly with the Director of Field Marketing & Events. A strong fit for a recent graduate who's detail-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to learn by doing. What You Will Do: - Coordinate logistics and vendors for US trade shows and marquee events, including booth build, shipping, and on-site setup/teardown - Build and manage on-site staffing schedules and shift coverage for US event presence - Run lead and badge-scan operations at events - Set up and manage post-event follow-up flows (email sequences, SFDC lead routing) - Draft first-pass post-event reports against the standardized reporting format - Support logistics for US regional events, including executive dinners, happy hours, and local activations (venue sourcing, catering, invite/RSVP management) - Support Community/Developer event logistics in the US (meetups, local developer events) - Track event budgets against actuals and flag discrepancies - Provide general administrative support to the Director of Field Marketing & Events, including scheduling, vendor invoicing, and calendar maintenance Your Skills and Experience: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience - 0-2 years of professional experience; an internship or coursework in events, marketing, or hospitality is a plus - Highly organized with strong attention to detail - Comfortable juggling multiple deadlines and vendors at once - Clear written and verbal communication skills - Willing to travel (approximately 25%, depending on event calendar) What We Offer: - Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) - 401K with 3% Contribution - Pre-IPO Stock Options - At least 12 Public Holidays - Flexible Time Off Equal Opportunity Policy (EEO) MinIO is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer.
