Location : Denver, CO (candidate will have the flexibility to work out of their home office but must reside within a 50-mile radius of ORC's Denver, CO office) Schedule : Full-time, Exempt | Report to ORC's Denver, CO office weekly Travel : Candidate can expect to travel locally and throughout Colorado about 50% of the time Why Join ORC? What We Offer Competitive base pay: $75,000-$95,000 per year Health, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with company match and disability coverage Paid time off, sick time, and holidays Tuition reimbursement and professional training Recognition programs and growth opportunities ClassPass and Breethe Memberships What You'll Do Acquire Right-of-Way rights for distribution and electrical transmission projects in accordance with project guidelines and regulations Support the Project Manager (PM) and project team members Prepare real estate documents Conduct basic property research for ownership and boundary information Communicate with property owners and their representatives regarding right of way acquisition Perform general administrative tasks We're Looking for Someone Who Works efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines Can prioritize and balance multiple tasks Demonstrates strong organization and planning skills Is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn Has excellent written and verbal communication skills Thrives in a fast-paced administrative setting Provides strong customer service experience Can adapt to new systems and software environments Minimum Requirements Minimum of two (2) years of Right of Way Acquisition experience Active Colorado Notary or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC's systems Valid Driver's License Bonus Points if you have experience working on electric transmission projects and/or have previous real estate experience! Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in person, via phone and email. Substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers due to high amounts of computer usage and typing. Expected to spend long spans of time in front of a computer screen. Able to read, understand and interpret department related documents and data. This is a largely sedentary role; however, the employee is occasionally required to move about inside the office to access files, office equipment and to interact with other members of the staff.
