Housekeeper Position

Columbia Woodlands is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will help provide guests with a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment by maintaining guest rooms and common areas to the highest standards. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, have a strong eye for detail, and enjoy delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, suites, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
• Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces following established safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels, toiletries, and room amenities.
• Dust, polish, and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and maintain floors and carpets.
• Clean windows, blinds, and other room furnishings as needed.
• Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and towels.
• Restock housekeeping and cleaning supplies.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and steamers safely and efficiently.
• Identify and report maintenance issues or repair needs promptly.
• Ensure all rooms and facilities meet Columbia Woodlands' quality standards.
• Provide friendly, professional service to guests and work collaboratively with team members.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or a related cleaning role preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation practices, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, professional, and trustworthy.
• Ability to bend, lift, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Experience leading or supporting a housekeeping team is a plus.
