This position plays a critical role in supporting field operations, project managers, construction supervisors, customers, subcontractors, and utility partners to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented professional with experience in telecommunications construction, OSP projects, broadband infrastructure, permitting, project coordination, and construction administration.Position SummaryThe Construction Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of telecommunications construction projects. This position will coordinate project documentation, permitting, scheduling, material procurement, reporting, customer communications, and project tracking activities while ensuring projects remain organized and compliant throughout the project lifecycle.The ideal candidate will have experience supporting OSP fiber optic construction projects and possess strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.Project Coordination & AdministrationSupport Project Managers and Construction Managers with daily project activitiesCoordinate project schedules, milestones, and construction activitiesMaintain project documentation, reports, permits, contracts, and change ordersTrack project status and ensure project records remain current and accurateAssist with customer reporting and project updatesSupport closeout documentation and as-built recordsPermitting & ComplianceProcess permits, utility notifications, and project documentationCoordinate with municipalities, utilities, and permitting agenciesTrack permit status and project compliance requirementsEnsure project files meet customer and regulatory requirementsSupport safety documentation and compliance reportingMaterial & Resource CoordinationAssist with procurement of construction materials and suppliesCoordinate deliveries and material staging activitiesTrack material usage and inventory reportingSupport resource planning and workforce schedulingCommunicate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractorsCustomer & Team SupportServe as a communication liaison between field teams, customers, subcontractors, and project leadershipSupport customer meetings and project review activitiesResolve administrative issues impacting project schedulesProvide exceptional customer service and professional communicationSupport multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detailRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of construction coordination, project coordination, or construction administration supporting telecommunications, fiber optic, utility, or OSP construction projectsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsTelecommunications or OSP construction experienceExperience supporting AT&T, Comcast, Charter, Cox, Verizon, or similar service providersKnowledge of fiber optic construction, utility coordination, and broadband infrastructureExperience with construction management software and project tracking systemsAssociate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related fieldBilingual English and SpanishWhat Success Looks LikeAccurate and timely project documentationSuccessful coordination of permits, schedules, and project deliverablesStrong communication between field operations and project stakeholdersEfficient support of project managers and construction teamsHigh customer satisfaction and project organizationProjects completed safely, on time, and within scopePhysical RequirementsAbility to work in an office and construction environmentAbility to visit active construction sites as neededAbility to sit, stand, walk, and use computers for extended periodsAbility to occasionally lift up to 25 poundsAbility to support field operations throughout the Sacramento marketJoin a company where your contributions matter and your career can grow.
