Hospitalist Physician
Concord Physicians Solutions
We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician for a nocturnist opportunity in Virginia. This position offers a 7-on/7-off schedule, no required procedures, and a supportive overnight coverage model with tele-hospitalist assistance available.
Assignment Details

Schedule
- 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- 12-hour shifts
- 7-on / 7-off rotation
Practice Setting
- Acute Care Hospital
- 26 inpatient beds
- Acuity-adjusted ICU/PCU beds available
- No ICU management responsibilities
- Epic EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
- Hospitalist admissions
- Cross-coverage and floor call
- Overnight inpatient management
- No procedures required
Support Structure
- One Hospitalist physician covering nights
- One Hospitalist physician covering days
- Tele-support available for admissions and floor call
- Codes and rapid responses managed by Emergency Department physicians
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Residency training in:
- Internal Medicine
- Family Medicine
- Emergency Medicine
- Active Virginia medical license required
- Active Virginia DEA required
Board Certification
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
- Internal Medicine
- Family Medicine
- Emergency Medicine
New Graduates Welcome
- Emergency Medicine residency graduates within the past 12 months may be considered
- Proctorship requirements may apply

- Case logs from the previous two years
- Current immunization documentation
- Credentialing and compliance requirements as applicable
