Cash Management Sales Officer Full Time (40 Hours per week) Location 327 North 17th Avenue, Wausau, WI, 54401, United States Job Type Full Time, regular, exempt About the Role This position is responsible for sourcing new cash management and business deposit relationships, ensuring client service excellence, client retention, payments, and operational cash flow consultation. The role focuses on growing the bank’s core deposits through referrals and self‑sourced efforts, understanding client and prospect business environments, strategies, and industries to determine financial needs and appropriate cash management solutions. Responsibilities Manage all elements of the sales cycle including business development, prospect qualification, needs analysis, close of sale, and periodic follow‑up to ensure customer satisfaction. Devise and execute a plan to exceed individual sales goals. Actively manage a pipeline of business deposit prospects. Partner with Business Banking Sales and Cash Management Operations teams to create proposals and pricing proformas. Develop independent channels to prospect for new business deposit clients. Prepare applications and implementation documentation in accordance with all regulatory and bank processes, reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy. Recognize cross‑sale referral opportunities to bank business partners. Schedule and run client meetings, proposal presentations, product demonstrations, and relationship reviews. Design customer‑centric cash management solutions and provide consultative expertise on industry topics and the bank’s suite of products. Assist in training bank partners in cash management products, services, and sales strategy. Analyze bank statements to ensure clients fully utilize their cash management suite. Collaborate with bank staff to ensure proper execution of products, testing, implementation, and strategy to generate deposits and grow fee income. Handle intermittent travel as required for business or customer needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, finance, or equivalent combination of education or experience. 3‑5 years of experience in Treasury/Cash Management, Bank Retail or Business Banking services, including implementation. Extensive product knowledge and familiarity with specialty software used in the financial industry. Demonstrated customer relationship management and/or business development experience. Strong mathematical and analytical skills, including bank fee analysis. Knowledge of impending market shifts, payment processes, financial services product competition, and industry challenges and opportunities. Clear, professional communication skills. High attention to detail, organization, and resourcefulness. Knowledge of state and federal banking compliance regulations and bank operational policies.
