Overview

A fast-growing, customer-focused golf retail organization is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead and execute its overall marketing strategy. This individual will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for building strategy, managing execution, and leading a high-performing marketing team in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
What You'll Do

• Lead the development and execution of the company's strategic marketing plan
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align marketing with broader business objectives
• Own and manage the marketing budget across all channels and initiatives
• Establish and maintain brand guidelines, including in-store and environmental branding
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and campaign performance to drive decision-making
• Conduct market research, sales forecasting, and pricing analysis
• Identify opportunities for new products, services, and market expansion
• Manage external vendors and negotiate contracts to support marketing initiatives
• Develop and deliver internal training on marketing strategies and best practices
• Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing team

What You Bring

• Strong understanding of marketing strategy, brand development, and customer acquisition
• Experience leading marketing functions, including budget ownership and execution
• Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across an organization
• Competitive golf background (collegiate or high-level playing experience preferred)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Background

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in retail, sporting goods, or related industries
• Strong knowledge of the golf industry
• Passion for the game, with a playing background (low handicap preferred)
