Important Requirements

• Must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible within 3 years of residency.
• Non-boarded providers will not be accepted.
• Must be able to treat both adult and pediatric patients.
• Must be able to provide general ENT coverage.
• Will not be required to handle significant facial trauma.
• IMLC or applicable licensure accepted; licensure candidates must have an IMLC to be presented.
• No pending malpractice cases or adverse background issues.

Position Summary

The Otolaryngologist provides general ENT coverage for adult and pediatric patients, including outpatient clinic care, hospital consultations while on call, and scheduled surgical cases as needed. The provider will see approximately 16 clinic patients per day and provide weekday overnight and weekend call coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general ENT care to adult and pediatric patients.
• See approximately 16 patients per day in clinic.
• Provide clinic care Monday Friday.
• Respond to hospital ENT consultations while in clinic and on call.
• Provide overnight call coverage via pager.
• Provide 24-hour weekend call coverage.
• Perform scheduled surgical cases in the OR as needed.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Board Eligible within 3 years of residency or Board Certified.

Licensure

• IMLC or applicable state licensure.
• Licensure candidates must have an IMLC.

Schedule

• Monday Friday: Clinic, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, plus overnight call via pager.
• While in clinic, provider is also on call for hospital consultations.
• Saturday Sunday: 24-hour call.
• Coverage dates: September 13 21 and October 12 19.
