Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Mainframe Developer (CLT) to join their team. As a Mainframe Developer (CLT), you will be part of the Software Engineering department supporting the mainframe development team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Mainframe Developer (CLT) Location: Charlotte, NC What's the Job? Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives within Software Engineering. Review and analyze Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex issues and collaborate with team members to meet deliverables. Leverage solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements in project execution. Work closely with client personnel to ensure successful project outcomes. What's Needed? 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education. Proficiency in Mainframe COBOL and DB2. Experience supporting offshore teams, particularly Shannon - Offshore support. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. What's in it for me?
