About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to be its first in this pivotal role, with a focus on building and leading the finance function from the ground up. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including owning the financial strategy, preparing for fundraising, managing the investor data room, and establishing scalable financial systems. This role is particularly suited to a strategic leader with a hands-on approach, who is comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment and can directly impact the company's growth and financial success. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' of experience in finance, with at least 2 years' in fintech, crypto, Web3, payments, or digital banking. The role requires a deep understanding of financial operations in these sectors, including experience with structured credit, liquidity facilities, and fundraising. The ideal candidate will have a background in a VC-backed startup and be adept at building financial models, managing unit economics, and ensuring transparent financial reporting.
