Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Machine Operator to operate and maintain our production machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain machinery in accordance with company procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation.
- Monitor equipment during operation and identify malfunctions or product defects.
- Troubleshoot issues and adjust machinery to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Follow all safety protocols to support a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate logs of machine operation and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and communication.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime as needed.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Vocational or technical training related to machine operation.
- Experience with machinery used in plastic pipe manufacturing (or similar).
