Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical units. The RN will provide high-quality patient care across a variety of medical conditions, working in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including RTs, CNA, and charge nurses.
• Monitor patient progress, interpret strips, and manage vents and respiratory therapy.
• Document care activities accurately in EMR systems such as EPIC.
• Respond to patient needs and ensure safety during 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications:

• Valid and unexpired RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience.
• Ability to read and interpret EKG strips and respiratory monitors.
• Strong clinical assessment and acute care skills.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
