Team Lead, Logistics - Clinical Site Maintenance
Thermo Fisher Scientific
Team Lead for site logistics and maintenance at a global clinical laboratory supporting pharmaceutical and biotech trials. Oversees daily operations, manages staff performance, ensures quality compliance, and coordinates issue resolution across the department.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations of the logistics and site maintenance department
- Manage Associate Site Services Assistants and Logistics Coordinators; evaluate and address performance issues
- Provide training to new staff and when processes change; maintain documentation
- Handle escalation for logistical complaints and coordinate resolutions with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and maintain Key Performance Indicators for the team; support quality compliance and SOP reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational qualification
- 0–5 years of relevant experience in logistics or site operations
- 1+ year of formal leadership responsibility
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
