License: RCIS or RAD required

Certifications: BLS & ACLS required

Description: The Cath Lab technician works in a multidisciplinary lab. They support patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures. They perform scrub and monitoring duties, utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment. They apply prescribed procedures for the operation of radiology imaging equipment. Experience in other specialties is a plus. The schedule is Monday to Friday with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM. Call requirements include approximately one day a week and one weekend a month. Candidates must be able to scrub/pan procedures for peripheral and diagnostic studies.
