Job Description & Requirements Interim Director of Nursing StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $160000.00 - $170000.00 Join a Wisconsin hospital as their next Interim Director of Nursing! The Position An Interim Director of Nursing (DON) is needed to provide clinical and operational leadership for a 107-bed facility. The Interim DON will focus on ongoing initiatives including stabilization, helping to align organizational goals, and recruitment. Key responsibilities include stabilizing nursing operations, ensuring survey readiness, and developing best-practice policy and procedure checklists. The ideal candidate will have Long Term Care and/or Skilled Nursing Facility leadership experience, a strong background in survey readiness, and the ability to quickly establish structure and accountability. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree is required. Active RN license is required. Compensation Details Compensation Range: $160,000 to $170,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits. The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
