What your day looks likeStep onto the floor of our complex automotive glass plant and start with a line walk: check critical control panels, review PLC trends, and verify machine quality checkpoints. When a process stoppage occurs, you’ll dive into diagnostics—tracing faults across PLC, servo, NC, and power systems—to restore uptime quickly. Between calls, you’ll partner with Engineers on ideas that trim cycle time, fine-tune routines that improve quality, and support planned installation projects. Reliable, regular attendance and close collaboration with teammates keep production moving smoothly.Key responsibilitiesDiagnose, repair, and install electrical/electronic systems for complex manufacturing machinery in an automotive glass environment.Conduct routine machine quality checks; analyze stoppages tied to equipment failures and implement corrective actions.Troubleshoot and resolve unplanned downtime; support major equipment installation and commissioning efforts.Collaborate with Engineers to develop and implement process improvements that increase throughput and reduce cycle time.Perform daily line monitoring assessments and document findings.Work cooperatively with others; maintain regular and predictable attendance.What you bringHigh school diploma or GED.Completion of a technical trade school apprenticeship (minimum 4 years) or 6+ years of experience in electrical/electronic diagnosis, repair, and installation of complex machinery in a manufacturing facility; Associate’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Technology preferred.Journeyman Industrial Electrician (required).Demonstrated troubleshooting strength across PLC, servo, NC, and power distribution systems.Ability to apply electrical theory to test and modify developmental or operational machinery and electrical control equipment.Proficiency in industrial electrical work.Work scheduleWillingness to work alternative schedules, including 12-hour shifts and weekends. #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
