Physical Therapist Location: Health and Human Services Agency – 2751 Napa Valley Corporate Dr., Napa, CA. Salary: $103,459.20 – $123,635.20 annually. Job Type: Full Time. Job Number: 1172-2026-05-26. Position Physical Therapist (PT) vacancy in the Public Health Services Division of the Health and Human Services Agency. Provides therapy for children and youth with disabilities through the Medical Therapy Program. Works with patient, parents/guardians, and the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and provide direct therapeutic interventions. Develop and implement individualized plans with functional goals. Assess, recommend, and support procurement of durable medical equipment (DME) and orthotics. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Ideal Candidate Experience providing pediatric physical therapy services in a clinic, school, or other client‑facing environment, including work with children and youth with special health care needs. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple evaluations, treatment sessions, equipment requests, and documentation efficiently. Flexibility and adaptability in handling varied work assignments and schedule changes. Strong, clear, and compassionate communication that supports teamwork and builds trust with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to resolve conflict effectively while maintaining relationships. Strong commitment and history of positive teamwork and collaboration with colleagues. Position Requirements Education : Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university. License : Possession of a valid Physical Therapist license issued by the California Physical Therapy Board or certification of pending licensure (PTLA) with licensure completed within 6 months of hire. Driver’s License : Valid California Driver’s License. Bilingual (Spanish) skills preferred but not required.
